I first got interested in Germany when I was 16 (through a school trip) and wanted an opportunity to come back. So, I was thrilled to find a job in Germany that would allow me to experience the country and at the same time get some valuable and interesting work experience. My work has allowed me to be in touch with a younger generation and to realize how elevating it is.

Germany: Top 10 first impressions

They say that stereotypes exist for a reason, and in a lot of cases they’re completely right, but Germany has been giving me many surprises (and a few confirmations) each day. I’ve been in Hamburg (in Northern Europe), for two weeks now and each day is like a new adventure with a continuous onslaught of sensory overload. Here are a few of my first impressions of Germany.
